Having swum through the suggested reading list I wonder if my interpretation of PLE is in need of review.
I apply a set of concepts rather than worry about the exactness of different elements in a PLE. These concepts include ME and what I bring to the learning (this includes my “inquiring frame of mind”, my educational theories and their application, my working/learning context etc).
This state of mind seems crucial to further learning and decision making as it sets the scene for me.Consequently it defines my starting points and reasoning as I engage in learning – e.g. if I have an inquiring frame of mind I am likely to consider change possibilities more readily – perhaps!
I must look further in PLENK to extend my appreciation of this.
